Napoli have been told that their asking price for Nigeria international Victor Osimhen is very high.
This is the opinion of Bayern Munich honorary president, Uli Hoeness, who expressed his admiration for the 24-year-old striker.
According to him, it would be difficult for the German Bundesliga champions to pay €180m for the striker.
The Super Eagles forward was outstanding for the Serie A club last term, scoring 26 goals to finish as top scorer in the Italian top-flight.
He also scored five more goals in the Champions League and Napoli are demanding €180m for their star man.
Hoeness however claimed the Bavarians won’t overpay for Osimhen.
“Bayern Munich don’t go along with that if the numbers of up to €180m are correct,” he told t-online.de.
“These [Kolo Muani and Osimhen] are both excellent strikers, even if both are 24 years old. Osimhen is a bit further because he has been playing in a top league for a long time. Bayern can plan ahead for a decade with any of them. Osimhen has a bit more experience.”
