It is quite unfortunate, that her father, the award-winning Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo wouldn’t be alive to witness her joyous day.
The singer who was aged 51, died in his sleep on Friday morning, November 25, 2022. He was buried in December amid years from his wife, family, loved ones, colleagues, and fans.
Mourning him, Alula Okposo had described his death as shocking, adding that the truth still feels like a blank of paper but she knows her father is ‘jamming’ with the angels in heaven.
Remembering him in February, his wife, Ozy Okposo, shared several photos of them, admitting that she misses her husband terribly.
However, she is comforted knowing he is with Christ and he has Sammie in His hands.
Before his demise, Okposo made headlines after he publicly apologized to his wife, Ozioma for cheating on her with another lady in the United States.
In the apology which was shared on his Instagram page, the singer lamented over the incident which he noted happened in 2021.
The singer further stated that the development had seen him step aside from ministerial work until “full restoration.”
