Inter Miami’s hopes of reuniting Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the MLS club are ‘over’.
That’s according to head coach of Suarez’s current team Gremio.
After signing Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, David Beckham’s Inter Miami side were hoping to bring another ex-Barcelona star to Florida.
However, negotiations over a deal for Suarez appear to have collapsed, with the Uruguayan striker set to remain in Brazil.
“The deal won’t happen,” Gremio head coach Renato Portaluppi has revealed.
“Luis will stay at Gremio until December, the soap opera is over now.”
