Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has urged the Premier League club to sign Victor Osimhen this summer.
Erik ten Hag is in the market for a new striker and have been linked with Osimhen, Harry Kane and Rasmus Hojlund.
A move for Kane seems impossible at the moment with Tottenham Hotspur Chairman, Daniel Levy not willing to sell the England international to United.
Atalanta striker, Hojlund is gettable but is not proven at the highest level.
Ferdinand reckons Osimhen would be the ideal forward for the club and urged United to pay his asking price.
“Do it. Look at the market. Who else is there? There’s no one ready-made,” Ferdinand was quoted by United in Focus.
Osimhen scored 31 goals all competitions for Serie A champions Napoli last season.
