David Kasumu, a talented 2015 Nigeria U15 invitee, is reportedly leaning toward signing with Huddersfield Town.

After missing out on promotion to the Premier League in last season’s playoff final, the Terriers are looking to bolster their squad with the signing of a midfielder.

Kasumu has received a contract offer from MK Dons, but as of yesterday, nothing had been finalized, leaving him a free agent.

According to Tom Coleman, a sports writer for WalesOnline, the Nigerian is nearing a transfer to Huddersfield Town and has added that a switch to Swansea City is not likely.

“Think we already knew this, but doesn’t seem like David Kasumu will be heading to Swansea. Told he’s closing in on a move Huddersfield,” Tom Coleman tweeted.

Kasumu is an MK Dons Academy graduate who progressed through the ranks before making his senior debut against Newport County in a Carabao Cup match while still a student.

The 22-year-old has made 93 appearances in total for MK Dons and has two goals to his credit.
