In January, the Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce will try to sign Slavia Prague forward Peter Olayinka.
The versatile forward who scored against Fenerbahce in the UEFA Conference League last year is someone the Turkish club has long admired.
This summer, the former league champions tried to convince him to move to Turkey, but he was not interested.
When the transfer window reopens in January, Fenerbahce will reportedly make another offer for Olayinka, according to CNN Turk.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals and provided an assist in nine games for Slavia Prague this season.
Olayinka has won three league championships and two Czech Cups with Slavia during his four years in Prague.
In another report, Newcastle United and Central Coast Mariners are negotiating a contract with teen forward Garang Kuol.
The 17-year-old, who will turn 18 next week, was drafted into Australia’s squad for two upcoming friendlies against rival New Zealand and is expected to play. He is also now being predicted to make their World Cup roster.
Kuol is now close to finalising a deal with Premier League powerhouse Newcastle, which is crucial for the Mariners as they hope to soon reach an agreement.
