Arsenal have been boosted by the news that Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice are fit to start this afternoon.
The England pair picked up injuries in the north London derby draw with Tottenham last weekend but have recovered in time for today’s trip to the south coast.
William Saliba also starts after suffering a setback during the week. Fabio Vieira drops to the bench and is replaced by Kai Havertz as Mikel Arteta makes one change from the team that began that game against Spurs.
Gabriel Martinelli, Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey remain out for the Gunners, but Leandro Trossard is fit again and among the substitutes.
As for Bournemouth, striker Dominic Solanke starts for the hosts after recovering from an ankle injury sustained on Wednesday.
Andoni Iraola makes one change from the side that started last weekend’s defeat at Brighton with Marcos Senesi replacing Lloyd Kelly.
There is no Tyler Adams in the Cherries matchday squad, but Luis Sinisterra is on the bench.
