The second round of the Carabao Cup sees European teams enter the competition.
Leicester narrowly avoided a Carabao Cup upset against League Two Stockport County, failing to score in 90 minutes before winning a penalty shootout.
Stockport held at bay the 2016 Premier League champions, who were playing in the EFL for the first time in 11 years this season. With a third round appearance, their first since 1996/97, was in their sights. In the shootout, however, Leicester goalkeeper Daniel Iversen stood out as the winner as a rotated Foxes team won.
