Carabao Cup: Chelsea beat Tottenham to set up final clash with Manchester City

Chelsea are through to the final of the 2019 Carabao Cup after beating Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 via penalty shoot out.

The regulation time ended 2-1 in favour of Chelsea having lost 1-0 at the Wembley Stadium to send the tie into extra time.

Ngolo Kante gave Chelsea the lead before Hazard  doubled it to set Chelsea in course for their 15th League Cup final in 16 years but their joy was cut  short when Llorente restored hope for Spurs in the 50th minute but Chelsea held on to book their place in the final against Manchester City in the final on the 24th of February at Wembley.

David Luis scored the winning penalty to give Chelsea victory after Lucas Moura and Eric Dier missed from the spot.
