Photos from the lavish wedding dinner of Fatima Aliko Dangote and Jamil MD Abubakar in Kano

The colourful wedding dinner of Fatima, daughter of Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Jamil, the pilot son of former Inspector General (IG) of Police, Mohammed Abubakar unfolded at Afficent Events Centre, Sultan Road, Kano.

The glamorous event which was chaired by Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki had in attendance Former First lady of Nigeria, Mariam Abacha, wife of the Former Vice-President of Nigeria, Amina Namani Sambo, Femi Otedola, Donald Duke, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Herbert Wigwe, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Capt. Noggie Meggison, Senator Ademola Adeleke, Hon. Abdulmumin Jubril, Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Granduje and Mr Adedeji Adeleke among others.

The couple looked lovely together as they arrived in style with their family and friends.

H.E. Mrs Toyin Saraki, wife of the Senate President officiated the cake-cutting session and she, it was who directed the couple on their first assignment of feeding and serving each other drinks.

The event, hosted by Darey Art Alade was beautifully planned and executed by Mrs Funke Bucknor-Obruthe’s Zapphaire Events while Ksquare Limited, provided water-tight security.

Guests were entertained by DJ Jimmy Jatt, Vintage Band and a spectacular performance by Davido.
