Christopher Nkunku makes only his second Chelsea league start, and his first since December 27 to face Wolves this afternoon. He comes in for Noni Madueke.
If there’s any signs of rust for the Frenchman, he can at least take solace from his performance in his last game against Wolves, where he was on the scoresheet in a 2-1 defeat.
Malo Gusto is the other returnee at right-back, with Axel Disasi moving to his more natural centre-back position and Benoit Badiashile dropping to the bench.
Pablo Sarabia returns to the Wolves frontline to visit Chelsea as Gary O’Neil makes three changes from the team beaten so cruelly in added time at Man Utd on Thursday.
He replaces Jeanricner Bellegarde, while Rayan Ait-Nouri and Joao Gomes replace Matt Doherty and Tommy Doyle after coming off the bench in midweek.
