The management of Bauchi’s Wikki Tourists Football Club has appointed Abdullahi Adamu as the club’s new Technical Adviser.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the club’s former Technical Adviser, Kabiru Dogo, resigned as Technical Adviser on January 31.
This was stated by Abdullahi Kobi, the Club’s Media Officer, on Tuesday in Bauchi.
Kobi stated that Adamu was presented with an appointment letter by the Club’s Chairman, Balarabe Douglas, during a brief ceremony at the club’s secretariat.
“The Wikki Tourists new gaffer joined the Club during the 2019/20 Nigeria Professional Football League Season as acting Technical Adviser and later Chief Coach when Kabiru Dogo was appointed Technical Adviser.
“While accepting the offer, Adamu promised to do his best for the club to justify the confidence reposed in him,“he said.
He solicited for more understanding, patience and prayers, saying the task ahead was a collective one.
Adamu was at different times, Coach of Green Beret FC of Zaria and Katsina United FC of Katsina. (NAN)
