Former Premier League star Ray Parlour has told Chelsea to show more seriousness in their move to sign Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
He said that the Ecuadorian would build a perfect partnership with Enzo Fernandez in the Blues’ midfield.
Parlour described Caicedo as a strong and the perfect midfielder to Fernandez in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
Caicedo has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer transfer window.
Chelsea are keen to sign another new midfielder after the departure of the likes of N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount.
“I like Moses Caicedo,” Parlour told Genting Casino. “I think he will be the perfect fit for Chelsea.
“He is really strong, always wants the ball and when I watched him play for Brighton against Chelsea, he was one of the best players on the pitch.
“I can see Enzo Fernandez and Moses Caicedo forming a great partnership at Stamford Bridge.”
