Transfer: Ten Hag identifies top three goalkeepers to replace De Gea
Manchester United will pick one goalkeeper from the three already identified by manager, Erik ten Hag as a possible replacement David deGea.
The future of the former Spain No.1 is said to be “in the balance” at Old Trafford.
The Golden Glove winner will see his current deal expire at the end of this month and is yet to agree fresh terms to remain at Old Trafford.
Although “discussions remain open” the Red Devils are being linked with several options in their goalkeeping section.
But United are looking at other goalkeepers including Porto’s Diogo Costa, Brentford’s David Raya, and Inter Milan’s Andre Onana – regardless of whether De Gea remains at the club or not.
Ten Hag has publicly backed De Gea on a number of occasions last season, but the Dutchman gave no assurances he would be number one next season if he stays.
