In a bid to avoid losing to Manchester City in their pursuit of England midfielder Declan Rice, Arsenal have decided to submit a £100million offer.
The Gunners must act fast to show they really want the West Ham captain and fend off interest from Manchester City.
According to Daily Mail, West Ham are expecting a new bid after a recent offer worth £90m from the Gunners was rejected.
Pep Guardiola’s City’s interest in Rice is said to have sharpened the focus at Arsenal.
The England international is said to be more interested in a switch to the Emirates Stadium than any other suitors but it won’t be the player’s fault if the Gunners fail to meet West Ham’s demand for their most priced asset.
The UEFA Conference League winners have previously confirmed that Rice is almost certain to leave this summer.
