Victor Osihmen netted four times as Nigeria hammered Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 in Morocco.
The Super Eagles went into the game looking to build on their 2-1 win over Sierra Leone in the first 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
And they were quick off the mark, scoring three times in the first half.
Osimhen opened scoring with a bullet header, before setting up Moses Simon and Terem Moffi.
There were seven goals in the second half: Osimhen (twice), Moffi, Dennis Emmanuel and Oghenekaro Etebo.
Nigeria now lead the group with six points, with Sierra Leone hosting Guinea-Bissau next.
