Former Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the Super Eagles’ 3-2 win over Mozambique in a FiFA International friendly played in Portugal on Monday.
The Super Eagles managed to beat the Mambas but for Sani, the victory was not convincing.
He noted that the West African side has not been flying high especially in friendly matches under Jose Peseiro.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles defeated 10-man Mozambique 3-2 at the Estádio Municipal de Albufeira on Monday.
Geny Catamo gave Mozambique the lead in the sixth minute with Witi providing the assist.
The Super Eagles leveled through Terem Moffi in the 18th minute.
Mozambique were reduced to 10-men in the 37th and the Super Eagles were awarded a penalty on the dot of 45 minutes which was converted by Moses Simon.
However, Mozambique fought back to reduce the deficit through Faisal Bangal in the 55th minute.
