Mahrez strikes twice as Man City qualify for Champions League final

Manchester City winger, Riyad Mahrez, scored a brace as they beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 on Tuesday night.

The Premier League leaders have now qualified for their first-ever Champions League final on a 4-1 aggregate.

Both sides have suffered disappointing exits from the competition in recent seasons and City came into this clash with a big advantage having come from behind to win 2-1 in Paris in the first leg.

Without Kylian Mbappe, was so important in wins away at Barcelona and Bayern Munich in previous rounds, benched due to a calf injury which kept him out of Saturday’s 2-1 win over Lens, PSG lacked that killer touch in attack.

City are still in contention to win the Treble, having won the Carabao Cup and a point away from being crowned champions of England.
