Lookman determined to impress Atalanta fans as player makes promises

Ademola Lookman, who joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig, is eager to win over the club’s supporters.

Lookman’s future appears to be in doubt after Leicester City turned down the opportunity to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of last season.

The 24-year-old made an impression while on loan at the King Power, making 42 appearances in all competitions and contributing eight goals and five assists.

Lookman, who also spent the 2020–21 season on loan at Fulham, another English Premier League team, gets a fresh start with the move to Atalanta.

The new season in Italy is set to begin next weekend, and the winger is eagerly anticipating it.

“I think for me the platform Serie A is amazing, it’s a massive club in Italy and plays attacking, great football, so for me it was an easy decision to make really,” Lookman told Atalanta YouTube channel.

“I’d say I am explosive, excited, I like to score goals, like to set up goals, like to make things happen.”

“I like to create dangerous situations, for the rest, I consider myself a chilled, relaxed guy.”
