Ademola Lookman, a winger for the Super Eagles, has expressed his joy at scoring his first goal for the senior national team.
Kemifilani recalls that the Leicester City striker scored his first goal against Sao Tome in Nigeria’s 10-0 win at the Adrar Stadium in Morocco in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Monday.
The Nigerian international thanked the team for their support on his official Twitter account.
“Been waiting for this moment and yesterday I scored my first goal for my nation Nigeria. Thank you to everyone for your support@NGSuperEagles,” the Tweet read.
With six points from two games, the Super Eagles are currently leading Group A.
Lookman has played four times for the Super Eagles, all in the year 2022.
