Former Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere, has agreed a short-term deal with Bournemouth, after training with the Championship side briefly.
Wilshere, who left West Ham earlier this season, has been training with the Cherries in recent weeks.
He has impressed manager Jason Tindall with his fitness.
Talks had commenced last week and the south coast club have now offered and agreed a contract with Wilshere, believed to be until the end of the season.
Speaking earlier this month, Tindall said it would be ‘foolish’ to not consider bringing Wilshere on board if he proves his fitness.
“Jack’s still training with us, he’s training well, he’s looking sharp and it’s really good to have him,” Tindall told talkSPORT.
“It’s a situation we’ll keep monitoring in the next week or two and we’ll see where Jack’s at, and what we feel as a club in terms of what would be the best thing moving forward.”
