Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up about his biggest challenge he has faced since moving to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo moved to the Saudi Arabian league late last year after falling out with the powers that be at Manchester United.
The Portugal international, who is the king of European football, has scored 14 goals and provided 2 assists for his new club since joining in December 2022.
Speaking with Saudi Pro League media, the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner was asked about his difficulties in his new environment.
And the Portugal captain emphasized that adapting to the altered training schedules has been his most significant adjustment.
Comparing the training routines in Europe to those in Saudi Arabia, he highlighted unconventional timings as a major challenge.
“There are difficult parts, but it is the same in Europe, but maybe in Europe we used to train in the morning and here we train in the afternoon or in the evening and when Ramadan starts we train at ten in the evening, it is very strange,” he said.
