Manchester City will take on Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final next month.
This was confirmed after the draw was conducted on Sunday, following Manchester United’s 4-3 victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford.
In the other last-four fixture, United will take on Coventry City.
This means a repeat of last season’s FA Cup final, between City and United, is still a possibility.
Amad Diallo’s 120th minute winner in extra time ended Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp’s hopes of winning the quadruple, after the Reds had been minutes away from Wembley. Marcus Rashford scored a 115th minute equaliser, before Erik ten Hag’s side progressed.
Earlier today, Chelsea defeated 10-man Leicester in a six-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge.
Yesterday, the City beat Newcastle 2-0 to book their place in the last four, after Coventry City reached the semi-finals following their stunning comeback victory over Wolves.
The FA Cup semi-final ties will be played on the weekend of 20 April, with both matches taking place at Wembley Stadium.
