Mauricio Pochettino has refused to blame his goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez after his disappointing performance in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.
Pochettino was not happy with the draw and believed that his team deserved a victory against Arsenal.
Chelsea threw away a two-goal advantage with 13 minutes after Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk put them in the lead.
But Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal struck back with goals from Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard .
A section of Chelsea fans have slammed the goalkeeper for allowing two cheap late goals but the Argentine gaffer said he would not blame anyone.
“It’s not to blame someone. It can happen. It will arrive with time. when to be calm and when to take risks,” he told reporters after the game.
“We’re a young team getting to know each other.
“We are so happy with him. Of course he is disappointed and upset with his decision.”
