Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has reacted to suggestions the team has stagnated under him.
The Dutchman watched from the touchline as his Red Devils side were beaten by Crystal Palace at the weekend.
But addressing the press ahead of their Champions League clash on Tuesday, the former Ajax boss pointed to the multiple injuries in his squad
He said he sees desire to win matches from his players.
“I don’t agree with that,” the Dutchman responded to suggestions that progress at the Theatre of Dreams has slowed down under his watch.
“The team is moving forward.
“We have to make adjustments as well, when you don’t have a full-back on the left side, you have to change and we did.
“There were shortages in our game, definitely, but also we are aware of very positive points.
“At the end of the day it’s only about results, we didn’t get a result and of course that is very disappointing.
“We didn’t get a result, but we are looking for it.”
