Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is of the opinion that Manchester United at this point, want to ‘destroy’ the footballing career of Jadon Sancho.
He also suggested that the Red Devils want the England international to leave.
Following the player’s omission from Manchester United’s squad that suffered a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal last weekend, Sancho and Ten Hag have been embroiled in a war of words.
The former Borussia Dortmund star was dropped from the MatchDay squad, a decision that Ten Hag claimed was due to underperforming in training.
Sancho hit back immediately, claiming that he trained well and was being made a scapegoat.
Robbie Fowler told The Sunday Mirror, “I know it sounds a bit cynical, but I can’t help thinking the entire Jadon Sancho situation stinks suspiciously like a classic case of wanting a player out.
“I don’t know the ins and outs of it, but it seems to have blown up before the transfer window closed.”
