Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has hailed Scott McTominay who proved to be the match winner against Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.
McTominay netted two late goals as the Red Devils won 2-1 at Old Trafford.
Speaking after the game, Ten Hag hailed the Scottish midfielder.
He said: “McTominay was fabulous”.
“When you come in with the end of the game near and you bring that mindset, that energy and that confidence, he fought for every meter, for every ball, and he was rewarded.”
The win ensured that United did not lose a third consecutive home fixture in the league.
However, they remain in ninth place on the log, just ahead of Chelsea who thrashed Burnley 4-1.
