Tottenham Hotspur defender, Cristian Romero, has told Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister to go and cry at home.
This was after the north London side defeated Reds 2-1 in a tense Premier League game on Saturday.
Both players engaged in some banter on social media after the game
Liverpool suffered their first defeat of the season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a late own goal from Joel Matip
Some of the game’s major decision were against the Jurgen Klopp’s: Curtis Jones being sent-off in the 25th minute after his yellow card was turned to red; disallowing what appeared to be a clean goal by the Red in the 34th minute and Diogo Jota also given a red card in the 69th minute.
And after the match, Tottenham star Romero took to Instagram to share some of the best moments of the game.
“This team has great spirit, great heart. always like this, all together @spursofficial” he wrote.
His compatriot, Alexis Mac Allister responded, saying,
“Normal when you play with 12,” suggesting that the ref was against Liverpool.
Romero replied,
“Cry at home.”
