Chelsea could play next season without European football.
It would be the second consecutive season the Blues don’t play on the continent.
This campaign, Mauricio Pochettino’s team only had domestic football to concentrate on.
However, they are already 12 points off the top four places in the Premier League.
Pochettino admits it would be hard to break into the spots that guarantee European football.
“This is mathematic. We need to believe it is realistic. It is going to be tough to achieve the places to play in European competition but it is still there.
“The most important problem now is not to [look to] the end of the season but the process and to improve every day. It’s important to be focused on today and not tomorrow. That’s one of the aspect we working to this week,” he told the media on Friday.
