Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, remains optimistic that Bukayo Saka will sign a new contract with the club.
However, the Spaniard wants to get the deal done quickly.
Saka has two years left on his current Arsenal contract and Arteta hinted that he wants the England international’s future sorted before the Qatar World Cup.
“I’m confident that we as a club, Bukayo and his agent are very much aligned about what we want to achieve and now it’s part of putting it on a piece of paper,” Arteta said.
“I would like it to get done as I don’t want a player distracted in the middle of the season. But these things take time.”
