Manchester City are bound to record a back to back defeat in the Premier League this weekend.
That is the opinion of some Arsenal supporters who believe that the Gunners are a stronger team this season.
Manchester City will travel to the Emirates Stadium this weekend where they tackle the Gunners who are remain the only unbeaten side this season
Manchester City ended their run of unbeaten games last weekend when they fell in the hands of Wolves.
Arsenal have lost 15 of the past 16 meetings, including 12 consecutive Premier League defeats to the Cityzens.
Despite this record, some Arsenal fans are optimistic they would venge their anger on Pep Guardiola’s side.
The Cityzens came from behind to steal the EPL title from the Gunners last and this did not send frustration to the Arsenal fans but also angered them and their supporters.
The Gunners fans believe for this particular reason, Arsenal will attack City with the anger of last season.
“We’ll beat them, that’s for sure. I have no doubt.” An Arsenal fan told KemiFilani.
“If not for anything, our players should be motivated, and I know they are, by what they did to us last season.”
Speaking about Arsenal during his press conference on Friday, Guardiola said, “This season they [Arsenal] are still there because they are good. The recruitment they have done is top. Exceptional players.”
Guardiola also confirmed that they will be without some top stars such as Rodrigo, John Stone and Kevin De Bruyne for the game.
“We are not going to cry or complain [about replacing Rodrigo in the team]. We have to find a solution. We will have 11 players there to try and win in London;” he said of Rodri.
“On Stones No. He’s not ready to play. Maybe for the national team but not us.”
