Eid-el-fitri: Rohr gives Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi two days off

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has given Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi two days off to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-fitri.

Eid-el-fitri is a celebration which sees Muslims worldwide bid Ramadan fasting farewell.

To ensure Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi are not deprived of the once in a year celebration, Gernot Rohr has given them two days off after which they are expected to reunite with the squad in Asaba as they prepare for the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup Of Nations billed for Egypt from June 21 to July 20.

The two days off given to both players has cast doubt on their feature in Saturday ’s international friendly against Zimbabwe at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba.

Before traveling for the tournament in Egypt, the Super Eagles will face Senegal in a last international friendly on June 16.
