Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, had admitted he is feeling the pressure after a poor run of form.
However, the 48-year-old has backed himself to turn things around.
United head into their Champions League clash with Atalanta on Wednesday, having won just two of their last seven games.
A 4-2 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday has turned up the heat on Solskjaer’s position, but the 48-year-old insists he can handle the scrutiny.
“We’ve progressed over the years since I was here — third then second — you can see the progress, development and improvement,” Solskjaer told a news conference on Tuesday.
“This season we still want to improve.”
“There is pressure all the time. There is pressure on me of course but we’ve been through this before and come through it stronger as a team and as individuals. I’m just looking forward to the response. I’m in dialogue with the club all the time so there is an open and honest discussion all the time.”
