Nigeria striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, is close to leaving Liverpool on a permanent deal, according to Liverpool Echo.
The Reds want to cash in on the 23-year-old, who is attracting interest from a number of clubs this summer.
Awoniyi arrived at Anfield for a reported €1.1 million in 2015, after he impressed with Golden Eagles at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
He is however yet to make a single appearance for Liverpool because of work permit issues.
The striker has gone on several spells on loan in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, with FSV Mainz 05 paying Liverpool €500,000 to acquire the services of the Nigerian forward during the 2019/20 Bundesliga season.
Awoniyi spent the 2020/2021 campaign at Union Berlin, where he produced five goals and four assists in 22 games across all competitions.
With his work permit finally granted earlier this year, the former Royal Mouscron man retained hopes he could finally be given a chance to make his breakthrough at Anfield.
