The big news from Man City’s perspective is that Erling Haaland starts despite his injury scare against Aston Villa.
The only change from that 3-1 win sees Nathan Ake return in defence in place of Aymeric Laporte, who drops to the bench.
That may mean Bernardo Silva continues in an unorthodox left-back role. In central defence, meanwhile, Ruben Dias also starts despite having been withdrawn at the interval along with Haaland against Villa.
Thomas Partey is not included in the Arsenal squad due to injury, with Jorginho making his full debut in his place.
The only other change from the 1-1 draw with Brentford sees Takehiro Tomiyasu preferred to Ben White at right-back.
Gabriel Martinelli keeps his place on the left-hand side of Arsenal’s attack, with Leandro Trossard again on the bench, while Eddie Nketiah continues up front.
