Nigeria goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has assured Nigerians that the team will come back stronger and better.
The goalkeeper was in tear after the Super Falcons were eliminated from the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian goalkeeper was consoled by England players after the Falcons suffered a heartbroken exit from the tournament.
Nnadozie, who captained the team, was one of Nigeria’s most outstanding players.
She expressed sadness after Africans’ 4-2 loss to England on penalties in the round of 16.
Nnadozie reacted to the defeat via her Twitter handle, saying, “So sad not to have qualified for the next round; we gave our all. Super proud of this team.
