Peter Okoye calls out Polaris and Access Bank

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye otherwise known as Mr P has called out some Nigerian banks over scams.

Recall that Mr P, runs a lottery programme which online fraudsters have been using to scam people using his name.

Taking to his Instagram page, the singer, who stated that he is fed up with them, revealed that scammers have been opening accounts in his name to scam victims.

He questioned why banks would allow anyone open an account in his name without verification or seeking necessary documents.

Peter noted how it’s either an inside job from the banks or otherwise and he wouldn’t take things slightly with them.

The father of two states that he is filing a lawsuit against them for damages.

“Enough is enough!!
It’s either it’s an inside job or otherwise! I have a name to protect here and save some of these innocent victims! So get ready for me and my legal team!
How can @polarisbankltd allow someone to open an account in the name of “PETER OKOYE PSQUARE” and @myaccessbank you also allow someone open an account name “PETER OKOYE PSQUARE” without valid means of identification, no biometrics, no BVN, no verified address or even utility bill to correspond with the address of the account owner. Now they are using my name to scam innocent people. I am suing this bank for damages and calling them out! One after the other. @officialefcc take not! Enough is enough.

This isn’t the first time, Mr P has cried out over online scammers.

Last year, Peter Okoye had cried out over how online swindlers were using his name to scam people on social media.

Responding to a fan who said he wanted N500,000 before the end of the year, Mr. P of PSquare noted how such online begging is the reason why internet fraud is on the rise.

Fed up with the alarming increase in online scams, Psquare had lashed out at fraud victims.

Peter Okoye questioned if fraudsters use charms while carrying out their activities as he can’t seem to understand how they can convince victims to pay for giveaways.

This came after a victim had dragged the singer to refund him his money and had rained curses on him.

Responding to him, Peter noted how a good name is better than a bad name as he pointed out how many of the victims are greedy because give always are meant to be free.
