Odumodublvck shades Eedris Abdulkareem

Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck has thrown a shade at his senior colleague, Eedris Abdulkareem over his recent statement.

In a recent interview, Eedris claimed that he was the one who spearheaded the revolution that led to the global recognition of Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and other artists.

He credited himself for their success as he said his revolt against the poor treatment of Nigerian artists by show promoters in 2005, especially his clash with 50 Cent and his members, was a breakthrough for them. He stated that now, Nigerian’ artists are being respected worldwide because of his sacrifice, which unfortunately led to the death of his career.

Reacting to it, Eedris stated that no one paved the way for Wizkid, Burna Boy, and others rather their hustling spirit got them to the top.

He stated that though one can be inspired, no one paved the way for another as such credit is for God.

Odumodublvck made it known that no human being in the history of music has paved the way for him and it has only been God. He added that no one should credit themselves in the future for paving the way for him, as he noted how no one was there when he was in the Dengi.

“EVERYBODY DEY CLAIM PAVE THE WAY.

EVERYBODY TRYNNA CLAIM GODS GLORY

NONE OF YOU NIGGAS PAVED THE WAY FOR NO ONE.

NOBODY PAVED THE WAY FOR WIZKID OR BURNA. NOBODY

THEY HUSTLED.

ALL OF US GET OUR INDIVIDUAL STRUGGLES AND REALITY.

INSPIRED? YES.

PAVED THE WAY? THATS GOD.

NO HUMAN BEING IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC HAS PAVED THE WAY FOR ODUMODUBLVCK. THATS GOD.

SO TOMORROW MAKE NO OG CON DEY TALK SAY E PAVE WAY FOR ME, CAUSE BROS.

YOU WERE NOT THERE WHEN I WAS IN THE DENGI SO KEEP QUIET SIR”.

Similarly, Nigerian rappers, Ice Prince and Skibii had made a mockery of Eedris over his statement.

In a video that made rounds online, Ice Prince and Skiibii were captured watching the interview as they mockingly hailed and appreciated him for saving the industry.

Also, Paul Okoye slammed Eedris for always picking fights with his colleagues, as he noted how Eedris has insulted and fought with almost all reigning artists.

Paul stated every day Eedris always talks about fighting for the industry which leaves him laughing as he recounted how Eedris betrayed the industry because of his greed.

He stated that he had kept silent all these while about what transpired.

Meanwhile, Jaywon while weighing into the spat between Eedris and Burna Boy, stated that Eedris made a lot of contributions to the industry which he wasn’t applauded for because of his arrogance. He stated that he sees the same in Burna Boy as he noted how what goes around comes around.

He added that at the end of the day, everyone would collect and it’s just time.
