Nigerian dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan now known as Madrina has slammed rapper, Odumodublvck over his recent statement.
In a now-deleted post on her Instagram page, she noted how Odumodublvck claims he is inspired by someone, yet wouldn’t acknowledge the person for paving the way for him.
Questioning what is going on in the country, she noted how Odumodublvck’s name really fits his appearance.
“This odumodu black na real odumodu, you claim someone inspired you but you won’t agree he paved the way for you . What is going on in this country?”.
During the week, Odumodublvck had thrown shade at his senior colleague, Eedris Abdulkareem for crediting himself for the successes of Wizkid and others. He claimed that his revolt against the poor treatment of Nigerian artists by show promoters in 2005, was a breakthrough for them, as now, Nigerian’ artists are being respected worldwide because of his sacrifice, which unfortunately led to the death of his career.
Reacting to it, Eedris stated that no one paved the way for Wizkid, Burna Boy, and others rather their hustling spirit got them to the top. He, however, stated that though one can be inspired, no one paved the way for another as such credit is for God.
Odumodublvck made it known that no human being in the history of music has paved the way for him and it has only been God, and added that no one should credit themselves in the future for paving the way for him.
Recall that Paul Okoye had also slammed Eedris for his statement noting how he always picks fights with his colleagues, and insults reigning artists.
Paul stated that Eedris always talks about fighting for the industry which leaves him laughing as he recounted how Eedris betrayed the industry because of his greed.
He stated that he had kept silent all these while about what transpired.
Joining them, Nigerian rappers, Ice Prince and Skibii had made a mockery of Eedris as they were captured mocking him as they watched the interview.
