Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke better known as Davido has reacted to the painful demise of Access Holdings CEO, Herbert Wigwe.
Kemi Filani reported on Friday, February 9th that the banker and businessman, along with his wife, Chizoba, and son Chizzy, lost their lives in an ill-fated chopper crash in California.
The devastating news has no doubt shocked social media users and lovers of the businessman.
Taking to his Instagram story, Davido prayed for strength and comfort for the deceased’s family. In another post, where he shared a photo of the businessman, his wife, and his son, he revealed that he is weak.
“I pray for strength and comfort for the Wigwe family”.
“I’m weak”.
In other news, Cynthia Morgan had opened up on her bittersweet encounter with her colleague, Davido.
In an Instagram live video, she stated that her issue with the singer started way back in 2011 and had three bittersweet encounters with her.
The first, he cut the phone on her when she reached out to him as a fan of his. Her second encounter with him was at a club with his cousins, where he shoved her off. Her last encounter with him was unlike her previous as he expressed excitement at meeting her, unfortunately, she didn’t show up at the event he invited to, which she feels led to their animosity.
A week back, Davido had spoken out on his Grammy loss, declaring love for his supporters with a pledge that he would continue to churn out quality music.
Showing him support, Cynthia Morgan stated that though she isn’t a fan of Davido, she feels he should have won an award. According to her, this would have allowed peace to reign in the country. However, she is wishing him better luck next time.
Crossdresser, Bobrisky had expressed pride in Davido, calling himself his biggest fan. He stated that Davido is too big to fail as he noted how he is past that level.
Meanwhile, Davido’s hypeman, Special Spesh, had shaded Tyla who won the Best African Music Performance over
him.
