Access Holdings CEO, Herbert Wigwe, wife die in helicopter crash in US

A helicopter conveying the CEO of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe, has crashed and killed him.

The tragic incident happened in Florida, California.

Wigwe is said to be have been travelling along with his wife, son and the group chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group, NGX.

The chopper was believed to be heading to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night.

There were five people aboard the helicopter, which collided with two vehicles on the ground, killing two people.

The Bombardier Challenger 600 business jet was approaching the Naples Airport when the pilot radioed that both the plane’s turbofan engines had failed, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said in a statement.
