His full name is Michael Jeffrey Jordan, and he was born on the 17th of February 1963 to James R. Jordan and Deloris Jordan in New York City, New York, USA.

Michael Jordan grew up with his brothers named Larry Jordan, James Jordan Jr., and sisters named Roslyn Jordan, Deloris Jordan.

The legendary basketball player is an American by birth and celebrated his 58th birthday in February 2021.

Education and Career

Michael Jordan had his childhood in North Carolina; he gained admission to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1981. During his time in the school, he made the winning basket team against Georgetown in the 1982 national championship game as a freshman.

Also, Jordan during his time at college became the College Player of the Year in both his sophomore and junior years.

The American Basketball star took the U.S. national basketball team to Olympic where they won gold medals in 1984 in Los Angeles and in 1992 in Spain.
