Ex-Manchester United winger, Ryan Giggs, is facing up to five years in prison, after being charged with assaulting two women and coercive control.
This follows an alleged bust-up with his former girlfriend, Kate Greville, at his mansion.
Giggs who was driven to Swinton police station to be charged, said: “I will plead not guilty in court.”
The 47-year-old alleged to have “controlled” his ex-girlfriend for three years.
The Wales manager was charged with coercive and controlling behaviour against PR executive Kate Greville.
Giggs was further charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm to Kate, 36.
He is also accused of common assault of another woman in her 20s.
