Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has tested positive for COVID-19.
The LaLiga giants confirmed this on Friday.
Zidane, who has been under pressure at Santiago Bernabeu, will now enter a period of self-isolation.
He was on the touchline for a shock 2-1 Copa del Rey defeat to Alcoyano on Wednesday.
However, Zidane will not be in the dugout for Real’s next fixture, with a trip to Alaves set to played Saturday.
“Real Madrid CF announces that our coach Zinedine Zidane has tested positive for Covid-19,” Madrid’s statement read.
Nacho Fernandez had to also sit out the midweek clash with Alcoyano after posting a positive test.
