Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has sent a cheeky warning to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
This was after the Premier League side won the Champions League title in Istanbul on Saturday, being their very first time.
Manchester City, who were already the Premier League and FA Cup champions ahead of Saturday, defeated Inter Milan 1-0 to finally win the most coveted European Cup.
Real Madrid, who lost out to Man City in the semi-final, however, have won the trophy 14 times in their illustrious history.
Guardiola feels that Man City are capable of reaching Real Madrid’s record, warning La Liga giants not to rest on their laurels, as his City side are going to try and match their record.
“Be careful Real Madrid, we’re 13 UCLs away but we’re coming for you. We are on our way!
“If you sleep a little bit, we will catch you,” Guardiola said.
