Sasa Kalajdzic, a striker, has been acquired by Wolves from Stuttgart for a reported £15.5 million plus add-ons.
The 6’7″ Kalajdzic had a year left on his contract and scored 24 goals in 58 games for Stuttgart across all competitions.
Earlier this month, Kalajdzic was on Manchester United’s list of prospective targets.
The striker missed Stuttgart’s Bundesliga match against Koln last weekend because he was getting closer to joining Molineux.
With 15 senior caps to his name, Kalajdzic has earned full international status for Austria.
In other news, Ralf Rangnick, a former Manchester United interim manager, is rumoured to have attempted to persuade the team to let Cristiano Ronaldo go during the January transfer window.
After taking over as interim manager of the Red Devils in late November 2021, Rangnick enjoyed four victories and a draw in his first month in charge. Ronaldo scored four goals and provided an assist in those five games.
While everything seemed to be going smoothly at first, The Athletic reports that things at United were actually becoming tense behind the scenes, and Rangnick quickly started to worry about Ronaldo’s suitability to be the attack’s leader.
