Tottenham are ready to offer Harry Kane £400,000-a-week to stay put and reject interest from Bayern Munich, according to reports.
Kane is preparing to meet new boss Ange Postecoglou for the first time this week, where his future is sure to be the first port of conversation.
Postecoglou has admitted he has had no assurances from the club over Kane, who will return to begin his pre-season preperations on Wednesday.
Bayern Munich are keen to bring Kane to Germany this summer, and while Spurs have vowed to reject all bids for their star striker, it is claimed Kane wants the move after talks with Thomas Tuchel.
Daniel Levy has not given up hope of tying Kane down to a new contract, and the Daily Telegraph report he is willing to make the England captain the club’s highest paid player in its history by offering a huge £400,000-a-week wages in north London.
