Ghana international Thomas Partey has decided to join Juventus if he leaves Arsenal this summer.
The midfielder was a key part of the Gunner’s midfield that helped Mikel Arteta’s side challenge for the Premier League title last season.
However, his future with the Gunners is uncertain due to the imminent arrival of Declan Rice from West Ham.
Arsenal have now agreed a £105 million deal for Rice and the West Ham captain is due to undergo a medical on Friday ahead of his move to last season’s Premier League runners-up.
Partey, meanwhile, is not short of offers this summer with three Saudi Pro League clubs – Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-Khaleej – all interested in a move.
But according to CBS Sports, Partey’s representatives have informed the Saudi clubs that he wants to remain playing in Europe.
The report claims that Juventus is Partey’s preferred destination, although the Serie A club have not submitted an offer to Arsenal.
Arsenal are still keen to bolster their midfield options even further after signing Rice after allowing Granit Xhaka to join Bayer Leverkusen in a £21.4m deal on Thursday.
The Gunners are interested in Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia but are unwilling to meet his £50m asking price.
Liverpool and Chelsea have also expressed an interest in signing the 19-year-old, who moved to Southampton in a £14m deal from Manchester City last year.
Arsenal may reignite their interest in Moises Caicedo after they had multiple bids for the Ecuador international rejected in the January transfer window but the cost this summer could be prohibitive.
Brighton are holding out for a £100m transfer fee as they are using Arsenal’s £105m deal for Rice as a benchmark.
