Al-Nasir superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has taken a dig at his long-term rival Lionel Messi by claiming that the Saudi Pro League is better than Major League Soccer.
This is following Lionel Messi’s move to Inter Miami.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr last December after his contract with Manchester United was terminated.
Several high-profile players have followed in Ronaldo’s footsteps this summer.
Messi, meanwhile, opted for a different path as he was unveiled as Inter Miami’s new signing on Sunday evening.
Speaking after Al-Nassr were beaten 5-0 by Celta Vigo in a pre-season friendly on Monday evening, Ronaldo told Portuguese media “I think the Saudi league is much better than the United States.
“My team is Al-Nassr.”
