Manchester United have told England captain Harry Kane show that he really wants to leave Tottenham this summer,
The Sun reports that the Red Devils want the Englishman to put in a transfer request at Tottenham, in a bid to force a move away. Kane is optimistic of a move to the Theatre of Dreams.
Despite that the Red Devils have reportedly ended their interest in the striker, Erik ten Hag is “obsessed” to bring the England striker to Old Trafford.
But the Red Devils feel the 29-year-old was too expensive and were unwilling to pay £100m.
But following news that Kane is still keen on joining United, the club have informed the player to push again for a move.
They want Kane to either put in an official transfer request or publish a strongly worded statement expressing his desire to join Spurs’ Premier League rivals.
Daniel Levy is determined to keep Kane in north London – with hope he will still sign a new deal in the coming 12 months – and the Tottenham chairman does not want to sell him to a direct rival.
